I have always been passionate about making objects and about dogs. As a very young girl, I was always making or drawing something, most often dogs, and these interests have continued. I hold a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, where I majored in ceramics and design, and a M.Ed from the University of Houston.

For many years I made functional stoneware pottery and taught ceramics. Life and children have derailed my creative output at times, but I have always returned to the joy of producing something useful and creative.

Several years ago I was introduced to polymer clay by my best friend and polymer partner. Polymer clay is very strong and extremely lightweight. Polymer is an amazingly versatile medium that has quickly become habit forming.
